Supporting Largest Annual Fundraiser, Online Auction Engages Community to Further Schools Quality of Education and Enhance Community Overall
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. – February 19, 2013: Vine Hill Elementary School Parent Teachers Association (PTA), today announced its “We’re In” campaign as a part of the PTA’s largest annual benefit dinner auction. The “We’re In” campaign provides the greater Santa Cruz County with the opportunity to participate in Vine Hill PTA’s fundraiser, including the ability to bid on items for the first-ever online auction, which is running from February 18th - March 1st. The campaign and new online auction illustrates the PTA and Vine Hill Elementary’s strategic drive to engage the community in an effort to maintain the highest level of education which directly reflects home value and community quality of life.
Funds raised from both the annual benefit dinner and online auction directly support Vine Hill Elementary by providing the resources needed for music and art classes, life sciences garden, computer lab, extra science, as well as yard duty, physical education and academic classroom support during critical learning times. These additional school programs are key to what has made Vine Hill Elementary rank among the top 10% of the state’s public schools.

All local businesses displaying the “We’re In” signs in their storefronts have donated goods and/or services. The online auction will launch on February 18th at www.vinehillauction.com and anyone is invited to participate.
