Estate Planning: When Someone Dies

Wednesday, April 23, 2014 7 PM – 9PM.

We hope we have planned for it, but death happens, too often sooner than we would expect it, and catches us by surprise. If you have lost a loved one, or know someone who has, do you know what your next steps should be? We will talk about retitling accounts, clearing title to real property and transferring motor vehicles. We will talk about the differences between dying with a fully funded trust, a properly executed will, and dying without any written estate plan in place. We will address some of the important first steps to take in the administration of a trust or probate estate. We will also talk about some of the steps you can take to avoid some of the potential pitfalls of having no plan in place. It is recommended that you take the Estate Planning 'Introduction' class before the workshop 'When Someone Dies'.  $32.00 Fee is per couple. Register here http://register.asapconnected.com/courses.aspx?coursegroupid=305&ind=0
