Library Give Online & Mobile Access to movies, tv, music, and audiobooks

Santa Cruz Public Libraries today announced public availability of thousands of movies, television shows, music and audioboks, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with hoopla digital (hoopladigital.com).

Santa Cruz card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or IOS device or visit hoopladigital.com  to begin enjoying thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios – available to borrow for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets, computers and Apple TV.

“We’re constantly exploring new digital services that will meet the diverse needs of our patrons,” said Janis O’Driscoll, Programs & Partnerships Manager at Santa Cruz Public Libraries. “hoopla digital’s content ranges from entertainment to educational to children’s programs, so there’s something for everyone. Patrons only need a library card to get started and all content is free of charge.  It’s also digital so there is no waiting period for popular titles and hoopla’s automatic return means no late fees.”
