Due to construction Wednesday afternoon, traffic on Northbound Highway 17 is backed up for several miles south of the Summit area.
Motorists going to San Francisco are advised to take Highway 1, and those going to San Jose are advised to plan ahead.
As of 12:45 p.m., traffic was inching along at less than 10 miles per hour at least three miles south of Summit. It clears up afterwards.
