Walk to Feed the Hungry

Join for any part of this 17-mile walk of compassion from San Jose to Palo Alto.

Two children die of hunger every minute. By walking and donating, you can feed the hungry and save real lives. All proceeds go to BGR hunger relief projects in Asia, Africa, Haiti, and the U.S.

It will be a time for practice, mindful walking, spreading loving kindness, making spiritual friends, and exercise. It will be a pilgrimage of harmony amongst many as we visit locations of such meditation groups as: Chung Tai Zen Center, San Jose Insight Meditation Sangha, San Jose Dharma Punx, Floating Zendo, and Buddhi Vihara. The walk will end at The Sarah Wallis Park in Palo Alto which is near public transportation. Sarah Wallis once lived there and was a pioneer who championed women's rights. BGR also sees the need to help educate and support women with its programs.
