A rare chance to tour the creepy mansion by flashlight will be
available between 8 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.
The house was continually built up for decades starting in 1884 by
Sarah Winchester, widow of gun tycoon William Winchester. She was apparently
obsessed with the number 13.
The number 13 has important significance at the haunted house that
has 13 bedrooms, 13 fireplaces, 13 bathrooms and 13 steps on the stairs.
During the evening event, there will be an appearance by juggler
and magician Mr. Miraculous, balloon art and a silhouette illustrator.
Tickets for Friday the 13th events are available at www.winchestermysteryhouse.com.
