Last Chance: Deadlines You Don't Want to Miss in Scotts Valley

We all do it. Forget to mark our calendars for upcoming soccer league sign-ups, prom tickets or local business expos. There are so many events and opportunities in Scotts Valley that is can be hard to keep tabs on them all.

Fortunately, Patch is here to help track some of those important deadlines. The following is a list of deadlines coming up. Take a look before it's your last chance!

Federal

Today is tax day. The deadline this year is April 17, as April 15—the traditional tax day—fell on a Sunday and April 16 was a holiday in District of Columbia.

SPORTS

Registration for the Mt. Charlie Challenge bike ride benefiting Scotts Valley schools is now underway. This year's event will include a 100-mile, 62-mile, and 32-mile ride to choose from. The ride is on May 5 and $75 pre-registration is until April 20. After that, registration is $100. Community

The Scotts Valley Kiwanis Club is now selling tickets for its Cinco de Mayo Dinner Dance Party. The event is on May 5 at the Scotts Valley Community Center and will feature UCSC Mexican folkloric dancers, a raffle, live auction, and catered dinner from Taqueria Los Gallos. Tickets can be purchased now until the event at both Los Gallos locations.
