Last Sunday, the Scotts Valley Educational Foundation held a back to school BBQ to introduce the community to the district's new superintendent, Penny Weaver. Community members and educators in the Scotts Valley Unified School District came out to MacDorsa Park to meet each other, discuss educational issues, and enjoy one last good picnic before the start of a new school year.
