Each week, local photographer Lucas McDaniel showcases the people and places of Scotts Valley through the lens of his camera.

On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Scotts Valley held a "50's Summer Nights" themed fundraiser to raise support for local schools and youth programs. A simultaneous fundraiser was held to help support SVHS's own Kendra Kannegaard, who is recovering from a surgery to remove a tumor on her spine that has left her in a wheelchair.
