View Finder: Murder Mystery at the Library

Each week, local photographer Lucas McDaniel showcases the people and places of Scotts Valley through the lens of his camera.
On Saturday, amateur investigators and private eyes had a chance to gather at the Scotts Valley Library and solve a murder mystery. The event, a first for the library, was put on in conjunction with Santa Cruz Reads, a monthlong program filled with events paying tribute to the works of Edgar Allan Poe. The murder mystery, which was also a fundraiser for the library, was put on by actors from Berkeley-based Murder on the Menu.
