Cast Your Vote For Second Harvest Today
The organization is in the running for a new Toyota truck.
Today is the day to cast your vote for Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County to win a new Toyota truck in a national competition.
The food bank is one of five non-profit organizations from around the country competing in Toyota's "100 Cars for Good" program that is giving away a car a day based on votes at Facebook.
If Second Harvest comes out on top in today's contest, it will use the new truck to feed an additional 10,000 people a month. The organization currently distributes 7.2 million pounds of food annually to needy people throughout the county.
