Hwy 9 Closed in Both Directions in Ben Lomand

The highway is closed due to fallen wires and a tree.

According to the CHP website, Highway 9 should reopen at 5 p.m. today.

8:30 a.m.

State Highway 9 in Santa Cruz County is closed in both directions in Ben Lomond this morning due to fallen wires and a tree, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The road is closed at upper and lower Glen Arbor Road in Ben Lomond and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

The estimated time for reopening of the roadway is noon, according to the CHP.
