Scotts Valley Photography Contest

May 8 marks the beginning of the second week for the Scotts Valley Photography Contest.

The Scotts Valley Arts Commission announces a community-focused
photography competition--We are Scotts Valley!  A photographic tribute
to Scotts Valley.

Local businesses Jesse Gabriel and Bay Photo
are taking the lead in planning and sponsorship of the event.  Six
photography categories will provide plenty of opportunity for
photographers--professional or amateur--to showcase both their
individual creativity and the uniqueness of Scotts Valley. Eighteen
prize winners, including a "People's Choice" award.  The contest
culminates in an exhibition at the Scotts Valley Library August
