Restaurant Week to Feature 33 Restaurants From Across County

Restaurants from Scotts Valley and the San Lorenzo Valley will be offering special meals for Restaurant Week.

Twenty-five dollars might sound expensive for a one-person dinner, but when you consider the possibility of a multi-course meal at some of the best places that the county has to offer, that's what you call a deal. Actually, that's what you call Santa Cruz Restaurant Week. 

From Oct. 3-10, 33 restaurants from Davenport to Watsonville will show off their fare with three-course prix fixe menus demonstrating the highlights of their offerings from appetizers to entrees to desserts. At least three options per course will be provided at each restaurant.

This fourth annual Santa Cruz Restaurant Week features four eateries from the Scotts Valley/San Lorenzo Valley area. See their menu choices below:

1. Heavenly Cafe (Scotts Valley)
Appetizers: Clam chowder, crab cakes, tempura onion rings
Entrees: Bleu cheese burger, spinich ravioli, salmon platter
Desserts: Creme brule, croissant bread pudding

2. The Hollins House at Pasatiempo (Santa Cruz)
Appetizers: French onion gratinne, wild mushroom saute, summer beet and goat cheese salad
Entrees: Herb roasted prime rib, miso glazed atlantic salmon, vegetarian black truffle gnocci
Desserts: Crème brule, lemon-lime cheesecake

3. Oak Tree Ristorante (Felton)
Appetizers: Bruschetta, grilled prawns, stuffed avocado
Entrees: Seafood linguine, pork ribs, spinach and ricotta ravioli
Desserts: Panna cotta, tiramisu, baked figs

4. Tyrolean Inn (Ben Lomond)
Appetizers: Toasted farmer’s bread, smoked trout, variety of sausages
Entrees: Pork steak, boneless chicken breasts in a mushroom, ham, and onion cream sauce, Hungarian beef stew
Desserts: Apple strudel, Bavarian style mousse
