Sandabs to Participate in Santa Cruz Restaurant Week

Twenty-four restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week, which begins today and runs through Oct. 12.

If you are looking for a fun night out where you can get the most bang for your buck, look no further than Santa Cruz Restaurant Week.

Starting Wednesday and running through Oct. 12, 24 of Santa Cruz County's best restaurants will be offering three-course meals for only $25 a person. Each course, appetizer, entree and dessert, will offer three choices, all showcasing the best of the restaurant's offerings. So if there is a place you have been dying to try, there is no better time than now.

Among the restaurants participating is Scotts Valley's Sandabs. Other nearby restaurants include Oak Tree Ristorante in Felton, Tyrolean Inn in Ben Lomond, and The Hollins House at Pasatiempo. See their menu choices below:

1. , 11 Camp Evers Lane, Scotts Valley.

Appetizers: Monterey Bay Octopus Carpaccio, Wood-Fired Monterey Bay Sardines, Oyster Nachos

Entrees: Local Rock Crab Imperial, White Sea Bass Saltimbocca, Ribeye Steak

Desserts: Smores, Mini Creme Brulee, Key Lime Pie

2. Oak Tree Ristorante, 5447 Highway 9, Felton.

Appetizers: Antipasto Vegetale, Gamberoni alla Griglia, Beet Salad

Entrees: Pollo alla Zafferano, Porco Affumicato, Linguine Tuttomare

Desserts: Semifreddo di "Dulche de Leche," Torta di Cioccolato e Fichi

Appetizers: Toasted Farmers Bread with Garlic, Bacon, Tomato and Mozzarella, Soup of the Day, Sausage Sampler with Sauteed Onions, Tomatos and Bell Pepper

Entrees: Wienerschnitzel, Sauerbraten, Linguini with Pork Loin in an Apricot-Cognac Cream Sauce

Desserts: Apple Strudel, Bavarian Style Mousse, Chocolate-Hazelnut Crepes

4. The Hollins House at Pasatiempo, 20 Clubhouse Rd., Santa Cruz

Appetizers: Onion Gratinee, Seared Ahi, Chopped Salad

Entrees: Fine Herb Seared Prime Swordfish, Roasted Tomato-Mushroom-Eggplant Goat Cheese Lasagna, Garlic Dry Rub Roast Prime Rib

Desserts: Wrapped Bananas Foster, Chocolate Torte, Grand Marnier Creme Brulee
