Thank You Napa County Cops

Thank You Napa County Cops

Thank you NPD,CHP,ACPD,NSO,CPD,SHPD & All other County Law Enforcement. You have done a great job. Thanks for getting the drugs and gang bangers off the streets.  What do others think of our Law Enforcement? If you are a cop, what do you need from us the community?

Who says my skin is brown anyway? What if I'm Asian? Oh this is serious alright. Have you ever felt powerless to someone you can do nothing against when you did absolutely nothing wrong? And having the feeling that it can ruin your life? Or have been stared down by an officer as you're driving along to work like he wants to beat you with a nightstick? I doubt it. It's not the same for someone who is part of the most privileged group in the world. As it really affected me after these incidents happened, I could not think of any other reason but because the way I looked. Napa's population is half Latino but I have yet to see a Latino, or any other race for that matter, patrolling these streets. But! I feel better cause the "majority" are Caucasian. Not all. Whew!! Here I was making all this noise? Go ahead and disregard what I see, feel and what I've been through with NPD. Tools of oppression. Taken from The Register- "And the department still has a long way to go to improve its communication with Napa’s Latino population. Only five of Napa’s nearly 70 sworn officers have adequate Spanish-speaking skills. The city of Napa is nearly 38 percent Latino." I don't have a problem with any Race or culture but it doesn't make any sense that a town with almost half of it's population being Latino, there isn't many Latino or more Spanish speaking officers. I do appreciate that you all at least replied to my comments. Thanks. Next topic please.

We get it, Henri, you feel persecuted and profiled by Napa's police force. An elite club of Caucasian officers with an administration of Caucasian people who only hire Caucasian officers willing to profile minority races. It's not EVEN possible that you may resemble a "known" person (police speak for frequent flyer) and own the type and color of car as the known person. Scenario: Known person alone in their car with a young child. Any officer would check that out. Let me save the other commenters the trouble here: WE THANK GOD FOR THAT! Think what you want, it's your right as a human being, you don't need my permission. You can think that the NPD is a pale alien race from another planet who profile Latinos because they eat them and Latinos are spicy and delicious. Knock yourself out.
