Classic Cars Heading to Scotts Valley this Weekend
Cops N Rodders event to bring more than 150 classic cars to Scotts Valley.
The Scotts Valley Peace Officers Association is hosting its 19th annual Cops 'n' Rodders Car Show 'n' Cruise on Saturday.
The event will start at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, where the cars will begin a police-escorted cruise along the cliffs to Capitola then on to the final destination, Siltanen Park in Scotts Valley.
More than 150 classic cars, including hot rods classics, antiques and more, will be on display at the park. The event will also include a police motorcycle skills competition, featuring officers from all over California and Nevada who will be competing through a number of cone patterns and obstacles testing their skills on a variety of motorcyles, including Harley Davidson, BMW, Honda and Kawasaki.

There will be plenty to see and do for the whole family, including a barbecue, jump house and police/fire-rescue/safety exhibits.
The 19th Annual Cops 'n' Rodders Car Show ‘n’ Cruise is Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Siltanen Park, 127 Vine Hill School Rd., Scotts Valley. The event is free to the public.
