Do you want a break from making the family breakfast on Sunday? Let Scotts Valley Firefighters do it for you.
The Scotts Valley Fire District will be hosting its annual Pancake Breakfast for the community at the fire station on Sunday morning.
Along with cooking breakfast, firefighters will be on hand hosting station tours, engine tours, and public education seminars. The event will also include several children’s activities, including the “Learn Not to Burn” trailer, bounce house, face painting, and a fire hose shoot out.
The breakfast is a fundraiser that the Fire District puts on each year. All proceeds will go to local charitable organizations and scholarships in the Scotts Valley and greater Santa Cruz County communities. Last year, firefighters donated over $4,000 that was raised at the breakfast.
The Scotts Valley Fire District’s Pancake Breakfast is on Sunday, Oct. 14 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Scotts Valley Fire District Station 1, 7 Erba Lane. Tickets are $7 for adults, and $5 for kids 12 and under and seniors.
