Four Scotts Valley Men Arrested on Drugs and Alcohol Charges

It was a busy weekend for locals indulging in controlled substances.

The end of last week was peppered with poor choices by  few Scotts Valley men, each arrested on charges related to drugs and/or alcohol.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office arrest logs show the following:

On March 8, Pedro Florez Gomez, 26, was pulled over at Scotts Valley Drive and Victor Square at 9:18 a.m. and charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license, both midemeanors.

Earch in the morning of March 9, Allante Blocker, 20, of Scotts Valley was arrested for being drunk in public in downtown Santa Cruz.

At 5:01 a.m. on March 9, Riley Alton Thomas, 19, of Scotts Valley, was taken from Mount Hermon Road to Santa Cruz County Jail on two felony charges — possession of narcotics and probation violation. He was being held on $15,000 bail.

Lastly, just 13 minutes after Thomas's arrest, Scotts Valley resident Justin Daniel McClelland, 29, was arrested for public intoxication, fighting in a public place and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $4,000.
