Man, 44, Shot, Killed Sunday Night in Watsonville

Police said the victim of a fatal shooting Sunday night in Watsonville is a 44-year-old man.

Police this morning are continuing to investigate the shooting this and have not released the identity of the man.

Officers responded at 9:26 p.m. to the Wall Street Inn apartments at 30 W. Beach St. on a report of a shooting, according to the Watsonville Police Department.

Police responded to the front entrance of an apartment building and found a man unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Unfortunately, this incident adds yet another to a multitude of reasons that Watsonville should be high on the list of cities most desirable to MOVE OUT OF! That is, if such a list existed. And yet we are told we should want to go stroll around downtown???
