Overturned SUV Blocking Southbound Lanes on Highway 17
The crash has traffic backing up toward Los Gatos.
Update 8:24 p.m.: Traffic remained slow from the Summit to Los Gatos for at least an hour after the crash, but vehicle flow returned to normal after sunset.
Original Report: A bronze or burgundy SUV has flipped and it blocking both lanes of southbound traffic on Highway 17 just south of the summit.
According to dispatchers, the accident occured at 3:55 p.m.

Live CHP incident data shows that traffic backed up at least a quarter mile in just the first few minutes after the accident, and that other vehicles were on hand assisting before emergency personnel could arrive.
