Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct, Possession, Vandalism

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On July 3 at 1:13 a.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A driver was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be in possession of an illegal wooden club, controlled substances, narcotics and paraphernalia. He was arrested and booked into County Jail.

On July 3 at 9:37 a.m. on Lundy Lane–An unknown person spray painted graffiti in several locations on the public bathroom facilities. Officers partially abated the graffiti.

On July 3 at 4:23 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–Two people engaged in a verbal altercation after a road rage incident in a parking lot. During the altercation, one person struck the other person in the head with a cane.

On July 5 at 2:31 a.m. on Highway 17–A female driver was stopped for weaving repeatedly. She displayed objective signs of being intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test. She was arrested for DUI and booked into County Jail.

Between July 4 at 8 a.m. and July 5 at 8:01 a.m. on Kings Village Road–An unknown person defaced concrete inside the skatepark with gold spray paint.

On July 6 at 4:19 a.m. on Granite Creek Road–Officers contacted a man standing in the roadway on the Granite Creek overpass. He displayed signs of being intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested and booked into County Jail.

On July 7 at 6:11 p.m. on Kings Village Road–A juvenile was contacted in regards to a report of fireworks and municipal code violations occurring at the skatepark. He was warned for being in possession of fireworks. The fireworks were confiscated and packaged for disposal.

On July 8 at 10:56 p.m. on Lundy Lane–Officers contacted a man for being in the park after hours. A records check revealed he had an own-recognizance warrant. He was cited and released with a court date.
