Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Theft

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On April 23 at 1:01 a.m. on Santa’s Village Road and Highway 17–A driver was arrested for felony warrants during a traffic stop. The vehicle was released to the passenger.

On April 23 at 6:31 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–An unknown person walked into Nob Hill Foods and stole a bottle of tequila.

On April 23 at 5:39 p.m. on Glen Canyon Road–Officers conducted a welfare check and an under the influence of narcotics evaluation on a woman. The woman was not found to be under the influence but tested positive for methamphetamines and amphetamines in violation of her probation.

On April 24 at 12:39 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A female was arrested for public intoxication after she was called in for being a nuisance inside a business.

On April 25 between 4 and 8:12 p.m. on Disc Drive–A person gave consent for officers to search his vehicle and residence. Officers located a handgun in the vehicle and took it for safekeeping.

On April 26 between midnight and 12:09 p.m. on Country Lane–A person is believed to have stolen $1,300 from another person while staying the night at the person’s house. The suspect left the house prior to the victim waking up and his whereabouts are unknown.

On April 26 at 2 p.m. on Casa Way–An unknown person made a fraudulent purchase online using another person’s debit card number.

On April 28 at 4:35 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A man was observed grabbing his daughter’s arm and forcefully pushing her to the ground while yelling at her.

On April 29 at 8:41 p.m. on Acorn Court–A person was punched in the chest and slapped in the face while in a domestic dispute. A woman was arrested and booked into County Jail.
