Police Blotter: Domestic Violence, Petty Theft, Stolen Vehicle

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Oct. 17 at 5:54 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—A person entered Kmart and concealed merchandise in his clothing. He left the store without paying. He was stopped by security, arrested and turned over to the SVPD. He was issued a notice to appear in court and was released.

On Oct. 17 at 7:50 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—Two men and one juvenile were observed concealing merchandise at Kmart and were detained by loss prevention. All three were in possession of stolen merchandise, and one was in possession of metal knuckles.

On Oct. 18 at 12:21 p.m. on Flora Lane—A stolen vehicle was found and recovered.

On Oct. 17 at 2:20 a.m. on Airstream Court—A woman reported that her vehicle had been rummaged through. Her credit card was taken.

On Oct. 18 at 9:27 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—A woman was cited and released for a warrant after being contacted by officers for a suspected violation of the city’s camping ordinance.

On Oct. 20 at 1:30 a.m. on La Madrona Drive—An unknown person stole a vehicle from the front parking lot of the Hilton

On Oct. 21 at 1:37 a.m. on Blake Lane—Two people were in a verbal and physical altercation. One person sustained injury to the back of the neck from being hit with a lamp. The other person was arrested for domestic violence and booked into county jail.

On Oct. 21 at 3:45 p.m. on Bean Creek Road—A vehicle was stopped for the driver talking on a cell phone. The driver was found to have a suspended license. He was arrested and released with a court date.

On Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m. on Bean Creek Road—Officers responded to an in progress domestic disturbance. The male was arrested, signed a citation and released at the scene.
