Police Blotter: DUI, Battery, Disorderly Conduct

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Sept. 26 at 4:01 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road­–Two men were involved in a physical altercation behind Nob Hill.

On Sept. 27 at 11:52 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road at Scotts Valley Drive–A man who was pulled over for a traffic stop was arrested and booked for DUI and possession. He had a blood alcohol level of .210 percent.

On Sept. 29 at 9:50 p.m. on Purple Hills Court–A woman called 911 to report that her son had physically assaulted her. Officers determined that the woman, who was intoxicated, had actually assaulted her son and his wife.

On Sept. 29 at 11:38 p.m. on Flora Lane and Mt. Hermon Road–Officers stopped a vehicle for failure to obey an emergency vehicle’s directional light to move to the adjacent lane of traffic. The driver was intoxicated and was arrested and booked into county jail.

On Sept. 30 at 10:28 a.m. on Skypark Drive–A brother and sister argued over the keys to a family vehicle. The sister refused to give her brother the keys and he pushed her onto her bed and held her down briefly as she struggle to get away. The sister did not wish to press charges.

On Sept. 30 at 5:36 p.m. on Southwood Drive–While reviewing financial bank statements, a person discovered a fraudulent charge made on the account.

On Sept. 30 at 10:36 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–Officers responded to a call regarding an intoxicated man refusing to leave McDonald’s.

On Oct. 1 at 8:20 p.m. on Country Lane–A driver was contacted getting out of his vehicle after being reported as a possible DUI driver. The man displayed objective signs of intoxication and failed a field sobriety test. He was arrested and booked into county jail.

On Oct. 2 at 1:40 a.m. on Scotts Valley Drive–A driver was stopped for speeding and displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested.
