Police Blotter: DUI, Burglary, Possession

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On July 17 at 10:29 a.m. on Scotts Valley Drive—A person exhibited symptoms of impairment after a traffic collision. The person was cited and released at Dominican Hospital. Blood was drawn and sent to the lab for toxicology results.

On July 17 at 12:45 p.m. on Bean Creek Road—An unknown person entered a home and stole a firearm. The serial number on the firearm was entered into a database as stolen, and the case is being forwarded to investigators.

On July 23 at 9:04 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—Officers stopped a vehicle for a non-operational tail lamp and found a machete, cocaine, hash and a large quantity of marijuana inside. The driver was arrested and booked into county jail and his vehicle was towed.
