Police Blotter: DUI, Possession, Burglary

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On May 29 at 4:10 pm. on Scotts Valley Drive–An unknown person attempted to use counterfeit $100 bills at a business.

On May 31 at 9:36 a.m. on Scotts Valley Drive and El Pueblo Road–A man was contacted by police on a vacant property. He was found to have a warrant and was arrested and booked into County Jail.

On May 31 at 12:18 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A man was observed by a store manager concealing items in a backpack. The man was issued a misdemeanor court date and released at the scene.

On May 31 at 5:44 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A woman was detained by loss prevention for shoplifting. She was found to have methamphetamine in her possession. She was arrested for possession.

On May 31 at 7:33 p.m. on Navigator Drive–A citizen reported four to five male juveniles who might be smoking pot on the linear park behind Navigator Drive. Officers contacted one of the juveniles and confiscated tobacco paraphernalia.

On June 1 at 9:27 p.m. at Scotts Valley Drive and Bean Creek Road–SVPD received a report of an intoxicated male.  Officers located the man and determined that he was unable to care for his own safety. He was arrested and booked into County Jail.
