Police Blotter: Identity Theft, Burglary, DUI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On June 22 at 7:30 a.m. on Kirkorian Court—An unknown person entered a residence and stole a television, laptop and jewelry. The person entered the residence through an unlocked back door.

On June 23 at 12:33 a.m. on Blue Hills Court—A woman reported that an unknown person fraudulently used her debit card to make purchases online.

On June 23 at 11:35 p.m. on Scotts Valley Drive—Officers contacted a male who provided a false name and date of birth. A records check revealed that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was booked into county jail. Officers also found medication on him without a prescription.

On June 23 at 10 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—An unknown person vandalized a putting green by gouging letters into it. Lands keepers were able to fix it without permanent damage.

On June 24 at 7:40 p.m. on Lockhart Gulch Road—Officers conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle for driving erratically. The driver was placed through a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. A records check indicated that he had three prior convictions for DUI.

On June 26 at 8:08 p.m. on Sageland Court—A minor made repeated harassing phone calls to another person despite being told to stop. The minor’s parent was previously unaware and ensured that the calls will stop.
