Police Blotter: Indecent Exposure, Vandalism and Domestic Violence

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Sept. 19 at 10:25 a.m. on Glen Canyon Road—A man approached a woman and began to masturbate in front of her.

On Sept. 19 at 8 a.m. on Baja Sol Court—An unknown person broke into a residence and stole numerous items.

On Sept. 20 at 8:15 a.m. on Mt. Hermon Road and Kings Village Road—A brother and sister were involved in a verbal argument. The brother got out of the vehicle they were in and threw an item at the side of the vehicle, causing more than $400 in damages.

On Sept. 21 at 5:30 a.m. on Estrella Drive—An unknown person stole a vehicle from a residential driveway.

On Sept. 21 at 11:20 p.m. on Scott Valley Drive and Bean Creek Road—A man in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked illegally in front of a fire hydrant was contacted by officers. He was found to have two warrants. He was arrested and released with a misdemeanor citation.

On Sept. 22 at 1:15 a.m. on Purple Hills Court—A man destroyed his brother’s windshield and fled the scene, driving a vehicle even though his license was suspended.

On Sept. 22 at 7:38 p.m. on Scotts Valley Drive—Officers conducted a vehicle stop and found the driver to be on active probation. The driver had drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and tested positive for amphetamines and methamphetamines.

On Sept. 22 at 8:54 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—A couple was involved in a physical and verbal fight in which one person hit the other.

On Sept. 23 at 1:36 p.m. on Azalea Avenue—An officer found a truant student at a residence outside the city limits. The youth was in possession of tobacco products and paraphernalia. The student was returned to school and released to school officials.

On Sept. 25 at 8:15 p.m. on La Cuesta Drive—A husband and wife were in a verbal argument. The husband pushed the wife to the ground and poured beer over her head. He was arrested for domestic battery.

On Sept. 26 at 9:56 a.m. on Kings Village Drive—An unknown person used spray paint and other marking tools to deface the skate park. The park was closed by the public works department for 72 hours to clean.
