Police Blotter: Petty Theft, Harassment, Use of Controlled Substance

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Dec. 19 between 1 and 11:34 a.m. on Granite Creek Road–An unknown person stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle.

Between Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 on Tabor Drive–An unknown person stole an elephant styled watering can from a front yard valued at $30.

Between April 4 and Dec. 20 on Bethany Drive–An unknown person used another person’s Social Security number to file taxes. A refund was sent to the suspect and the victim is being held responsible for payment.

On Dec. 21 at 9:38 a.m. on Civic Center Drive–A person sent numerous annoying and harassing emails to another person.

On Dec. 23 at 11:19 p.m. on Blueberry Drive–Officers contacted a person who was in a vehicle and displayed signs of being under the influence of narcotics. The person was on probation with search and testing terms. He was tested and arrested for being under the influence and violation of probation.
