Police Blotter: Theft, Battery, Burglary

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Aug. 10 at 7:29 a.m. on Scotts Valley Drive–The passenger front window of a vehicle was smashed in. The owner is not sure if anything was taken yet.

On Aug. 10 at 9:04 a.m. on Green Hills Road–A company truck was stolen and the theft is on video surveillance.

On Aug. 11 at 8:11 a.m. on Glenwood Drive–A vehicle was broken into at Scotts Valley High School. The face plate of the car stereo was taken along with a skill saw, a Craftsman power drill and its charger and spare battery, a Mikita electric drill, and a Craftsman tool kit including wrenches and sockets.

On Aug. 11 at 6:45 p.m. on Kings Village Road–An unknown person took approximately $50,000 worth of jewelry from a booth in Skypark during the Scotts Valley Art & Wine Festival.

On Aug. 12 at 2:46 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–A man took items from Safeway and was arrested.

On Aug. 12 at 9:09 p.m. on Scotts Valley Drive–A fight occurred between three men.
