Police Blotter: Vandalism, Theft, Fraud

The following arrest information was supplied by the Scotts Valley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Between June 11 at 5:30 p.m. and June 12 at 7:16 p.m. on Lockewood Lane–An unknown person broke into a locked vehicle and took and Apple iPod and a Garmin GPS console.

On June 13 at 6:13 at 6:22 a.m. on Estrella Drive and Pinecone Drive–An unknown person pulled on a street sign, bending it in the process.

On June 14 between 4:50 and 5:59 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road–An unknown person keyed and broke the rear taillight assembly on a vehicle while it was parked at Safeway.

On June 14 at 9:30 p.m. on Cathy Lane–During a noise disturbance call, officers discovered that one of the involved parties has two outstanding own-recognizance warrants. He was issued a citation and released.

On June 15 between 7:30 and 10:06 a.m. on Scotts Valley Drive–A person responded to a fraudulent email in which he sent all of his personal information.

On June 15 at 8:03 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road at Skypark Drive–An officer monitoring traffic observed an adult male talking on a cell phone while driving. The officer conducted a traffic stop and found that the man displayed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. The person failed a field sobriety test as was arrested.

On June 16 at 10:35 a.m. on Highway 17 and Santa’s Village Road–A vehicle was stopped for suspended registration. The driver also had a suspended license. The driver was cited and the vehicle was towed.
