Police Seek Suspect in Target Grand Theft

Livermore police have released a photo of a suspect wanted for a grand-theft incident reported at Target.

Here's information provided by the Livermore Police Department:

The Livermore Police Department would like help in identifying the individual in the attached photo. This person is a suspect in a grand-theft incident which occurred on 1/28/2013 at the Target store in Livermore. He possibly drives a white Toyota 4 Runner. If you have any information concerning this individual please contact LPD (non-emergency) 925-294-7506. You may remain anonymous, but please provide as much identifying information about the suspect as possible (name, address, vehicle, etc.). The established partnership between LPD and the citizen’s of Livermore allows us to work together to decrease crime in the community.

I agree that the little girl shouldn't be shown in the picture...that should be blurred out. It has nothing to do with her, and it could be really tragic for her if someone sees her and says anything. Other kids can be cruel and I would want to spare her the difficulty of having to go through that, on top of having a dad (assuming its her dad...) that is wanted for grand theft. That was my immediate thought.

Also,The guy looks more pacific islander type to me.Crime pervades from all groups,some more than others and I am not sure why but I think I know.It is environmental in the values taught to you from your family as a young child.I salute those that have come from shit family's with crappy moms and dads that are able to overcome and change their own courses and succeed. These are some real heroes!.

So, he just walked out the door with whatever is under that red cover in his cart? Very bold. Probably a professional thief, and probably not from Livermore, because then people would recognize him. I heard a story from a Livermore police officer that a store manager from Paragon Outlets recognized some professional thieves that he knew from the Gilroy outlets. They drove up here to "shop".
