Here are Scotts Valley police blotter items from May 30-June 4.

On May 30 at 11:19 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—An intoxicated man on probation for driving while under the influence returned to his vehicle and drove after admitting to an officer that he was too drunk to drive. He failed a field sobriety test and was arrested and booked into County Jail. His vehicle was towed.

On May 30 between 5 p.m. and 7:34 a.m. on Baja Sol Court—An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and took the stereo.

On May 30 between 7:30 p.m. and 8:40 a.m. on Pinecone Drive—An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and took personal items, including an iPod, purse and wallet.

On May 30 between 2-3:46 p.m. on Whispering Pines Drive—An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and took several pairs of sunglasses and some electrician’s equipment.

On May 30 at 11:19 p.m. on Scotts Valley Drive—Officers responded to a argument between two females and a male. The male was stopped by officers as he attempted to leave the scene in his vehicle. The male was placed through a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was arrested and booked into County Jail.

On May 30 between 9 p.m. and 8:08 a.m. on Bay Laurel Court—An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and took several items.

On May 31 at 8 a.m. on Vine Hill School Road—An unknown person used a counterfeit $20 bill to purchase snacks at the Little League fields Snack Shack. The bill was turned over to the U.S. Secret Service for information.

On June 3 at 4:03 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—A male who was reported to be drunk was found by officers to be too intoxicated to care for his own safety. He was arrested and booked into County Jail.

On June 3 at 5:45 p.m. on Granite Creek Road and Santa’s Village Road—A male was arrested for a parole violation. He provided a urine sample, which tested positive for numerous drugs. He was booked into County Jail.

On June 3 at 11:33 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road—Officers contacted a 21-year-old man while investigating a report of a physical fight between several people. The man was found to be heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself. No other people involved in the fight were found. The man was taken into custody and released to his father.
