Scotts Valley Police Investigating Two Burglaries

Both incidents happen on Victor Square.

Police in Scotts Valley are continuing to investigate a pair of burglaries at two local businesses last week.

The first burglary was reported around 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Jia Tella's restaurant at 18 Victor Square, police said. An intruder had forced entry into the restaurant and stolen a safe, according to police.

A day later, a business at 10 Victor Square was reported burglarized. Someone had forced entry there and taken several items, police said.

Police are still investigating whether the crimes are related. Anyone with information about either burglary is asked to call Scotts Valley police at (831) 440-5654.
