Dene Bustichi, outgoing vice mayor of Scotts Valley, was sworn in as mayor at last night's City Council meeting. Bustichi, whose term expires in 2012, will serve as mayor for the next year. The Scotts Valley native and owner of a construction company has served on the City Council since 2004 and was mayor in 2007.
Donna Lind was sworn in as the city's new vice mayor.
Outgoing Mayor Jim Reed and Councilwoman Stephany Aguilar were also sworn in to new four-year terms on the council. The two ran unopposed in November's election.
