Former Fifth District Candidates Endorse McPherson

George Wylie and four other former Fifth District candidates put their support behind Bruce McPherson.

Fifth District supervisorial candidate Bruce McPherson announced Monday that he has received the endorsement from former Fifth District candidate George Wylie. McPherson has now received endorsements from all four former Fifth District candidates.

“I fully support Bruce as the only viable candidate in the race for this county’s Fifth District supervisor seat,” Wylie said. “Bruce combines a deep understanding of the challenges facing our local communities with a unique ability to always find effective solutions to difficult issues. He is highly respected for his collaborative leadership approach, his skill as a negotiator, and his long history of bipartisan accomplishments as a former California legislator and secretary of state.”

Along with Brookdale resident Wylie, former Fifth District candidates Susan Weber of Ben Lomond, Bill Smallman of Lompico and John Abel of Boulder Creek have also endorsed McPherson.
