Tuesday Last Day to Apply for Mail-in Ballot for June 5 Election

Voters are encouraged to fax, scan or email, their ballot application for the Santa Cruz County Presidential Primary Election.

There are seven more days to go until the June 5 Presidential Primary Election. But those who want to cast their vote from home must request a mail-in ballot by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

As the request must be received—not just postmarked—today, voters may complete and submit an application online at http://bit.ly/VBMJune12, download a form and FAX it to 831-454-2445, or drop it off in person at 809 Center St., Santa Cruz. The drop box is a white mailbox-style receptacle located in front of the building.

As of today, more than 62,500 of Santa Cruz County’s 146,448 registered voters have requested to vote by mail.

For more information, please call the Santa Cruz County Clerk/Elections Department at 831-454-2060, 1-866-282-5900 (toll-free), or visit their website at www.votescount.com

We live off of Scotts Valley Drive. There is a person that drives up and down Scotts Valley DriveRead More quite often. He has a dog that rides in the back of his pickup truck. The dog barks as he is riding and sounds like he is just in heaven going for those rides. We want to tip our hat to this man for being such a good dog parent. We look forward to hearing those barks of excitement for many moons to come. Right on sir! And keep on being the good parent you are.
