  • The city council will consider seasonal placement of a yard waste container on Erba Lane. The service had formerly been in place year round for residents to use to dispose of yard waste. However, as a part of recent budget discussions the service was eliminated. Council members will discuss bringing the service back for the months of November and December.
  • The council will consider the approval of the General Plan tracking report for fiscal year 2010-2011. The California State Governor’s Office of Planning and Research requires cities and counties to complete a report on the status of their General Plans and the implementation process.  In May, the Scotts Valley Planning Commission reviewed the report and is recommending that the council approve and submit it to the state.
  • The council will be presented with the 2011-2012 budget for the Scotts Valley Redevelopment Agency for adoption. Although Gov. Brown has proposed to eliminate redevelopment agencies as part of his budget proposal, the council will handle the RDA budget the same way it has in years past until there has been a definitive decision made by the state.
