Looking for Children's Clothing?

Kidz Korner (Free)

During this difficult economic time, purchasing necessary items such as children’s clothing can be a challenge. I founded a local clothing exchange program called Kidz Korner where a parent can drop-off an outfit their child has outgrown and pick-up something they need. For example, you can drop-off Size 24M pants and pick-up Size 3T. Our clothing sizes range from Newborn to Size 5.

If you don’t have items to swap, feel free to join us anyways. We have plenty of free clothing, because we receive donations from Twin Lakes Church, Hopes Closet and Kid’s Closet Connection (See below).

My children have been blessed with handed-down clothing from our family and friends. It has saved us hundreds, if not, thousands of dollars throughout the years. My desire is to help other families in the Santa Cruz County. It warms my heart to see my kids involved in community service by serving alongside Mom/Dad and donating their clothes. Re-using materials is also good for our environment.

I’m grateful to my dedicated family and friends who volunteer their time, Randy Krusee, Kim Hudson, and Lori Barone. They’ve tirelessly sorted clothes, set-up/broke-down tables, and stacked storage bins. Their role has played a big part in the success for the past six years. Also, a big thanks to St. Andrew’s for the use of their facility.

Kid’s Closet Connection (Discounted)

My friend, Denise, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising and worked in the retail Industry for many years. Today, she’s a wife and stay-at-home-mom with four children: a 9-year-old and 2-year-old triplets.

She launched Kid’s Closet Connection which is held twice a year in Santa Cruz County. It allows her the best of both worlds in that she can be at home with her family as needed, and still provide professional customer service in a retail environment.

If you’re looking for affordable baby, children’s and teens clothing, furniture, toys, games, CDs, DVDs, swimsuits, jackets, shoes, stuffed animals, maternity clothing, computer software, dance and sportswear, gloves, books or baby items, check out Kid’s Closet Connection. The next event is March 23-25 at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds in Watsonville.
