Climate Reality Project Presentation at SVHS

A one-of-a-kind presentation from Gary Latshaw of Vice President Al Gore's Climate Change Reality Project takes place on Friday, Feb. 24 at 12:30 p.m. in the Scotts Valley High School Student Union.

Latshaw, a 1971 graduate of Stanford University, has worked in the industry for 30 years as an engineer and manager. Recently, he became a college professor. Latshaw was trained by Gore's team and has done many presentations for the Climate Reality Project, an initiative that was founded by Gore to bring "facts about the climate crisis into the mainstream and engage the public in conversation about how to solve it."

The program is sponsored by the Scotts Valley Rotary Sustainability Committee in cooperation with the SVHS Interact Club and is free and open to the public.
