Leading the offense on attack were Wesley Koenig with five goals and two assists, Spencer Fogelquist with five goals and one assist and Collin Corbella adding two goals and two assists. The attack played strong and controlled the play on their end. They showed the fans some very nice lacrosse play.

The midfielders ran hard all day and contributed four goals and many ground balls. Jake Rehnberg had two goals, Griffin Curtiss had one goal and one assist and Anton Galewski would not be denied, adding a goal of his own. The defensive unit was solid, anchored by goalie Chris Martin who repeatedly denied Saratoga on many difficult shots. He had 11 big saves in the game. His calmness in the crease led to many successful clears.

The long stick defense was again led by Scott Hunter and Cole Deblock. Their strong individual play made it very difficult for Saratoga to mount an offense. Takeaways, ground balls, intercepting passes, sliding and clearing the ball was the order of the day for the defense as they made their mark in each category. They also made their coach happy by not getting any penalties.

The fans got to see the boys come together as a team and win this important game making their record 3-0. The Falcons look forward to Harbor High School on Tuesday and Santa Cruz High School on Friday.
