‘In My Life’ Gallery Exhibition

Where/When: Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center, 9341 Mill St., Ben Lomond. Through June 23. Thursday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m.

What: Over 30 local artists will be showcased in the Art Center’s newest exhibit featuring a diverse array of work depicting “In My Life,” a celebration of life.

Scotts Valley Summer Crafter's Market

Where/When: Scotts Valley Artisans, 230D Mt. Hermon Rd. (in the parking lot), Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

What: Celebrate summer with local artists every Saturdays at this weekly summer crafter's market, featuring the original work of Santa Cruz County fine artists and artisans. This "local artists only" event showcases the work of our artistically-rich county in a family-friendly, outdoor setting.

Price: Admission is free. Arts and crafts will be available for purchase at various prices.

Family Time at the Library

Where/When: Scotts Valley Library, 251 Kings Village Rd. Saturday, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

What: The library will be hosting an event for the whole family. Family Time will include crafts and activities that every member of the family can take part in.

Price: Free.

Music in Skypark

Where/When: , 361 Kings Village Rd. Sunday, 3:30 p.m. 

What: After a winter hiatus, the free summer concert series at Skypark is back. Be there Sunday for the kickoff of a wonderful Scotts Valley tradition.

Headlining Sunday’s concert is Joint Chiefs, a versatile dance band performing together since 1990, playing a sound that fuses elements of funk, acid jazz and classic R&B. Opening the concert will be Ancestree playing an authentic reggae blend of roots, rock and soul music.

All profits from the concessions will be donated to the music programs of Scotts Valley schools.
