Poll: How Do You Feel About Measure K Passing?

The educational parcel tax wins with 76 percent of the vote.

Measure K, the educational parcel tax that has been the topic of discussion in the cash-strapped Scotts Valley Unified School District for nearly two years, with 76 percent of the votes.

The measure will go into effect on July 1 and will add a $48 tax per parcel to property tax bills for three years. Seniors and disabled people are exempt from the tax.
