What to Expect From Tonight's School Board Meeting
The Board will look at adopting updates to budget policies and hear a presentation on the state budget process.
The Scotts Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, One Civic Center Dr. The board is expected to consider the following items:
- The Board will hear a presentation on information that may affect the State of California budget process or assumptions for the SVUSD budget for 2012/13.
- The Board will adopt updates to several budget policies, including the comprehensive safety plan, cellular phone reimbursement, transportation of school-related trips, free and reduced price meals, and student wellness.
- The Board will discuss the revised Santa Cruz School Boards Association bylaws for comment and input prior to the May vote to adopt.
The district’s next board of trustees meeting will be at 6 p.m. May 8.
