The -San Mateo lacrosse team defeated 17-7 on Tuesday afternoon at Branciforte Middle School in Santa Cruz.
Wesley Koenig led the Falcons with four goals and one assist. His usual partner in crime, Collin Corbella, added two goals and three assists. Bradley McClarnon also scored a goal for Scotts Valley.
Scotts Valley’s defense had many opportunities to practice sliding against a strong Serra offense. Goalie Eric Dunn managed the array of Padres shots the best he could during the high scoring matchup.
