The Yankees took the lead 6-5 in the sixth on a single by Ambrosio Torres, but the A's Philip Garrison singled in Lukas Obrecht in the bottom of the inning with the winning run. Ethan Turner-Garnette, Tyler Costere, Nolan Fish and Garrison all doubled for the A's and Garrison and Zephyr Christianson each struck out five. For the Yankees, Arthur Soto had two hits and fanned nine while Weber Stemm tripled.
