Photo Gallery: Scotts Valley Residents Support Annual Pink Flamingo Golf Tournament

DeLaveaga Golf Course was lined with Pink Flags on Friday for a local golf charity to benefit Santa Cruz Spinal Cord Society.

On the Friday, Aug. 3, over 100 golfers showed up at DeLaveaga golf course wearing pink hats, socks, shirts and shoes to enjoy time with friends and play golf while raising money to develop a treatment to cure paralysis.

Scotts Valley resident Mike Leimbach hosts the event year after year to support the Santa Cruz Chapter of the Spinal Cord Society. All money raised is sent directly to the research center.

Mike is the president of the Santa Cruz Chapter and thanked the players, sponsors and helpers for another successful Pink Flamingo Golfing event.
