COOL SPOTLIGHT
The Scotts Valley 12’s All-Star team was eliminated in pool play 1-3 this year. At Sunday’s final game, league director Rick Stubblefield announced the team as a class act and well-respected ball players as he followed the team last year to state finals in Danville. Stubblefield announced players Jake Utic and Travis Lane will end their Little League careers proudly earning four District 39 championship wins with the Scotts Valley All-Star teams playing for the 8’s, 9’s, 10’s and 11’s.
Two players on the 12’s were first time All-Star team players that both hit home runs during post season play: Tyler Stone and Jonathon Steen.
