Scotts Valley's 4th of July Parade and Party in the Park

Fireworks are the grand finale!

What better way to celebrate Independence Day than with colorful evening in the park? On Wednesday, July 4, Skypark will open its gates for a parade, party and live music and most importantly--a huge fireworks display.

Organizers promise "bigger and better fireworks" this year, with a show by Pyro Spectaculars, a company with 90 years of experience, including the Super Bowl, World Cup and Macy's Parade.

The party will include live music by Mike Hadley & the Groove, which will sure to get the feet moving and hips shaking. Kids will enjoy a petting zoo, games, and the bounce house, which should tucker them out pretty perfectly once all of the excitement is over.

There will also be tri tip and BBQ chicken sandwiches, hamburgers and hotdogs, refreshments and much more available for purchase. 

The parade takes place on Scotts Valley Drive, and Scotts Valley Drive will be closed between Erba Land and El Pueblo Road from 2 p.m. to approximately 5 p.m. on the Fourth of July.

Disabled person parking will be available at the Santa Cruz County Bank parking lot and a designated area in front of the bank will be available for disabled persons.

Tickets for the 4th of July Party are $6 in advance and $8 on the day of. (Kids under four years of age enter free.) Purchase your tickets at: Scotts Valley Market, Ben Lomond Market, Crown Cafe Deli & Catering, and Scotts Valley Recreation.
